I'm brazilian, economist, and full stack developer.
» I'm an economics major from Fundação Getulio Vargas with experience with social economics/social justice, non profits, and ever-changing organizations.
» I believe in the power of open communication and initiative as essencial characteristics in a successful organization. I have a growing interest and involvement in technology and entrepreneurship, as they seem to me the current most powerful tools for change.
» I decided to dive into tech to create life changing tools, help change Brazil, and have fun in the process. The great thing about being a developer to me is that I am continually learning new languages and developing new techniques; it's easy to get out of my confort zone, which I'm kind of addicted to :)
» When I'm not coding, I'm listening to podcasts, playing the guitar, reading, and watching The Office on repeat.
I'm learning mobile development(Android), strengthening my Javascript stack and learning React.
I'll be attending a Machine Learning Using Python course from May to July @ UC Berkeley
I'm developing new projects, going to hackathons and constantly hopping on new adventures!

The Awaken web app allows the user to set the date/time they would like to wake up, and what information they would like to have at their disposal as they wake up, in the form of widgets (news, weather, commute time, etc). When set time comes, the display in which the Rasberry Pi is connected to turns on with a personalized display with the information. The display automatically turns off after a set amount of time.
Orbidia connects you to the world via media. The web app continually suggests music and films based on the countries/language and genres the user chooses. Other users from around the world help you connect to the media that you want to consume by making comparisons between artists around the world (for eg, for those who like Artic Monkeys and are looking for brazilian music, how about Los Hermanos?).
KeepYourCopy is a Chrome Extension that stores the last 15 bits of information the user has copied into his/hers computer's clipboard (Ctrl+C/⌘+C). In 'script' mode, everything the user copies to the clipboard goes to a Google Docs file automatically.
